Village Facilities

Churches

There are two churches in the Parish - St Andrews in Deopham and St. Marys in Hackford. They are part of the High Oak Parish and the Team Rector is Rev. Colin Reed and the Curate is Rev. Sally

Wallace-Jones. The Churchwarden for Deopham is Angela Phoenix and for Hackford is Heather Ethridge.

Gralix Hall

The Gralix Hall is the hall next to the Church in Deopham which is sometimes thought of as the Church Hall. However, it is not owned or run by the church but by a Management Committee of local people who have worked hard over the past few years to upgrade it so as it is more attractive for people to hire as a community hall as there is no other village hall.

Playing Field

The Playing Field is on Vicarage Road, Deopham and is currently run and managed by the Parish Council. The field is owned by The Rix Trust which is a local trust run by five trustees - the Rector, the two churchwardens and two trustees appointed by the Parish Council. The hut on the playing field has a water supply but no electricity supply - hence the limitation of what it can be used for.
